Lined or No Line –
a few things to consider…
No-line Advantages:
Clearer vision in the reading portion of the lens. Progressive lenses gently curve allowing you to see what you’re trying to read more easily.
A better looking pair of glasses. No one needs to know that you are wearing bifocals, other than you (and us, and we’re not telling).
Once you adjust to a progressive lens, you will never ever want to wear a lined lens.
If you have never worn progressive lenses before, we will work with you to help you adjust to them quickly and get their full benefit. Generally, for a person new to progressives it takes about a week for your eyes and brain to figure out this cool, new technology.
Lined lens Advantages:
Adapting to a Lined Bifocal may take less time than adapting to a progressive lens.
The Bottom Line:
No matter what kind of lens you choose, it will be hand cut and tinted to your specifications. Your satisfaction is guaranteed regardless of the lens type. We want you to be 150% satisfied with your glasses, and if you are not, we will continue working with you until you just can’t take it anymore.
